Hello, I am Kelley and I am glad you are here!

My passion is to help you connect to joy, creativity and your most vibrant Self/health. Have you ever felt like you are not seen and heard in this society? If so, you’ve come to the right place. At Avolve Wellness we work together (either one on one or in small groups) to listen deeply to that inner voice and wisdom.

I know what it’s like to juggle career, family and try to keep your health from falling apart! At times things have to fall apart so you can rebuild on a more solid foundation. That’s where Avolve Wellness can help.

I have developed methods to help you ‘Avolve’- and intentionally create & enjoy your one wild and precious life.

For decades, I wrote and produced news (at CNN, ABC, NBC Radio, NPR and WebMD). It was a wonderful career that supported me financially, but stress took a toll. I started to practice meditation and yoga in the ‘90s to cope with carpal tunnel syndrome, divorce, overnight shifts, too much coffee, wine & mind body disconnect.

While raising my autistic son who enjoyed taking his time in life and managing a chronic illness (Achalasia), I created a path away from a culture dominated by fear and over-busyness to one that is more calm and connected.

As a nationally board certified Health & Wellness Coach, trained at Duke Integrative Medicine and Wellcoaches I have helped hundreds of clients drop stress, connect to their higher self, reinvent themselves, start writing that book and more. I provide a limited number of 1:1 sessions.

Many of my clients are parents or caregivers of neurodiverse folks. I’ve created a signature online workshop called “Fear to Freedom” that uses journaling and other tools to help us regulate our own nervous system in order to be an anchor for our kids.

I also am a certified Gateless Writing teacher and really enjoy holding intimate online gatherings or one on one to share the magic of generative writing.

As an experienced Yoga teacher (E-RYT and trauma-informed) we see science is proving what the sages knew- movement, connection, breath and awareness can help the body release stress and trauma to promote healing.

When we choose to show up, we begin to design a life of our dreams. It’s all right here, right now.

Meditation is used to be still and know. There is no where to get to, only to surrender to the inner wisdom. We may bring stillness into our sessions or help you create structure to nourish yourself deeply.
